What Should I Wear? Come as you are! Most people dress casually for worship. You’ll fit right in whether you’re in jeans or your Sunday best.
Kids Are Welcome!
We love having children in worship! Pastor Mamie invites families to sit together and we recognize children can be a little noisy and messy...that's ok! Those are the sounds of life! But we also offer nursery for infants and toddlers during the 10 a.m. service. and worship bags are available for children K-2nd grade in the narthex.
We follow a traditional Word & Table Order of Worship, which includes:
- Prelude & Call to Worship
- Hymns, Prayers, and Scripture Readings
- Children’s Time and Sermon
- The Apostles’ Creed and Passing the Peace
- Choir Anthem and Offertory
- Joys & Concerns, Pastoral Prayer, and The Lord’s Prayer
- Closing Hymn, Blessing, and Benediction
We celebrate Holy Communion:
- On the 1st Sunday of each month during 10 a.m. worship
- Every Wednesday evening at 6 p.m.
At St. Andrews UMC, we practice an open table—all are welcome to receive this sacred meal.
Communion is served by intinction (dipping an individual piece of bread into a common cup), and we use gluten-free bread and grape juice as our elements as a sign of hospitality.
