Rev. Mamie Alley ("Pastor Mamie") was appointed to St. Andrews UMC in July 2024 after previoulsy serving United Methodist churches in Robbins, Aberdeen, and Pittsboro, NC. She is an Ordained Elder in Full Connection in the North Carolina Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church. A graduate of Duke Divinity School (MDiv) and NC State University (BA in Sociology with a concentration in Criminal Justice), she is honored to currently serve on our Conference Board of Ordained Ministry, the Gateway District Committee on Ordained Ministry, and as the Chair of the Joint Committee on Clergy Medical Leave. She has previously served as the Chair of our Conference Safe Sanctuaries Team, our Conference Children’s Ministry Team and our Conference Evangelism & Discipleship Team. Pastor Mamie is certified as a Transitional Intentional Interim and has taught various workshops throughout our Conference including breakout sessions at Annual Conference, District workshops, and the Lay Servant Academy.
