Mission Statement: Praising God and Sharing Faith through Music
New members are always welcome! Got experience? Great! Want to learn? That’s great, too! We need you!
Whether you wish to sing, play an instrument, or step into the sound booth, there is room for you! Auditions are not a requirement to sing or play, only a heart for our Lord.
Children’s Choir meets on Sundays during Children’s Church and share their gift of music throughout the year.
Adult Choir rehearsal is on Thursdays at 6:00 PM in the Old Chapel.
Frequently asked questions by potential choir members:
1. Do I have to read music?
No – Some of the best singers in the world do not read music!
2. Do I have to audition?
No – Singing in the choir only requires that your heart is right with God, as we lead others in worship.
3. Do I have to be a member of St. Andrews?
No – Membership is not required, but we would love for you to join our church family!
4. Do I have to sing at both services?
No – But many do sing for both. And, we always have room for those who would like to join us for our Christmas, Easter, and other special productions.
5. How much time am I committing to?
Thursday night rehearsals are at 6:00 PM. On Sunday mornings the choir “warms up” for the 8:45 AM Sunday services at 8:25 AM, and for the 11:00 AM service at 10:40 AM.
