Faith 4 Life: Are you a high school student looking for a place to fit in with other 9 th-12 th graders? Look no further? Join the Senior High School class downstairs in the Family Life Center. Craig Davis, SAUMC Youth Director, facilitates this class full of fun, exciting conversation and sometimes even food!
Sunday Nights
Youth (grades 9-12 th) meet Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:30pm. Youth dinner is served from 5:30pm-6:00pm before the meeting begins. The youth gather for study, mission projects, recreation, and fellowship. There are also special events throughout the year, such as retreats, District events and mission trips . Wednesday Nights
Youth (Grades 6 th-12 th) also meets September thru May from 6:00pm-7:00pm as part of Soul Feast.
Our youth ministry (UMYF) exists to:
REACH (1 John 3:9) non-believing students, to
CONNECT (1 John 1:3-4) them with other Christians, to help them
GROW (Matthew 28:19) in their faith, and to challenge the growing to
DISCOVER (2 Timothy 4:12) their ministry and
HONOR (Psalms 95:6) God with their life. |
