Operation Home Front

Operation Homefront of North Carolina’s Adopt-A-Family program started in 2009 to assist enlisted military families during the December holiday season and has grown considerably since it’s inception. In 2010, the Adopt-A-Family program assisted more than 400 military families in the state of North Carolina.

Our Adopt-A-Family program matches enlisted military families who are in need of holiday assistance with sponsors from around the state. Those that choose to sponsor a military family are required to provide $50-$100 for a holiday meal for the family, as well as $25-$75 per child for holiday gifts.

Registration for this year’s Adopt-A-Family program will open on November 1, 2011 at 9:00am EST.  Use this e-mail to register: lisa.zederbaum@operationhomefront.net

40 Days of Love

You can thrive in your career, acquire wealth and reputation, even experience tremendous impact in your ministry. But if your relationships are languishing, nothing else matters.

Relationships Aren’t Easy!
What does it take to make something so filled with both wonder and pain work, and work well?  Once person has the answer: Jesus.  He is the ultimate relationship expert, and what he teaches about how to relate with God and with the people in your life can lead you into a way of living richer than anything you’ve ever experienced.

A Transforming Journey
The Relationship Principles of Jesus walks you day by day, step by step, through how to live out six foundational truths taught by Jesus. Shaped after the forty-day approach of Rick Warren’s international bestseller, The Purpose Driven Life, this book guides you on a rewarding journey that will transform your relationships.

40 Days of Love
Join us on the journey as we discover the truth that We Were Made for Relationships starting November 6.  See Campaign Central at the church’s south entrance for more information or to join or start a small group.

For Your Safety

Precautions were taken by our contractor so we could cover the new building in scripture. Now that that’s done, the work site is off limits to anyone except construction personnel, day or night, unless specifically invited by our contractor.

You are welcome to observe the progress of the work from a safe distance; the sidewalk, grass area or parking lot.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Hurricane Irene

Are you are wondering if we will have worship services on Sunday?
Pastor Gerry will be monitoring conditions at the church. If safety or damage is an issue he will call in to WTVD and WRAL to post a cancellation, otherwise we will have service. Please note our church is listed as ST. ANDREWS – FAYETTEVILLE. There is a St. Andrews in Garner so don’t confuse the two. And please, please don’t leave your home if conditions are unsafe.
